After completing the initial rounds of chemotherapy, Sandra received her bone marrow transplant in October 2024. Since then, she has been on a remarkable road to recovery.
Genetic testing not only saved Sandra's life but also brought her closer to her newfound sister. It's a powerful reminder of the impact genomics can have on our lives.
"I feel fortunate to have had access to the NGS panel that changed everything," Sandra says. "In many parts of the world, including Mexico, biomarker testing is not widely available. It's a privilege I had because of my scientific background and professional network."
